We’re in Pacifica, Ca to begin a ride from San Francisco to San Diego. We’ve been here for almost a week, visiting in San Francisco and positioning our car in San Diego. The ride begins tomorrow with a ride north to San Francisco with lunch in Sausalito. Since we’ve done both of these, we’ll try to find a different ride tomorrow. Then on Sunday, we begin the ride south.
Photo is of the Point Reyes National Seashore. Sir Francis Drake landed here but no one told him it was a National Seashore. He must have missed the signs.
Update: Saturday. It’s cloudy, windy and cold so we decide to skip cycling. We did hike over a hill with 13 steep switchbacks on the trail. Tomorrow we begin our ride by climbing this hill on Highway 1.
